ACF
Review: Sunshine greenhouse kits include a beautiful redwood frame
and insulated polycarbonate covering. They are very roomy thanks to their tall
frames (8' wide models are 10' tall). Sunshine greenhouses are also one of the
easiest kits to build because the polycarbonate already comes installed into the
frame. The Sunshine greenhouses are very well built with quality materials and
many standard options which others do not have like automated roof and side vents,
Dutch door, and tall roomy frame. Great detailed instructions and assembly video

EasyGrow
Greenhouse |
|
ACF Review:
This is our best value for a small greenhouse packed with features and suitable
for almost any climate. The EasyGrow greenhouse is constructed of a green painted
aluminum frame and insulated 4mm twinwall polycarbonate covering. It comes with
a nice hinged door, shelving down the full length of both sides, and tall side
walls making it roomy inside. The frame is tubular aluminum which is stronger
than any other greenhouse we have seen in this price range, and the greenhouse
uses a wire support system to add extra stability. Instructions include lots of
helpful easy-to-read text and detailed diagrams. Much of the frame is connected
with "Push & Click" connectors making assembly relatively quick
and easy.
Sizes available:
(Width x Length)
6' x 8' to 8' x 12'
Standard Features:
This greenhouse includes a dark green aluminum frame, rigid 4mm twinwall polycarbonate
covering, built-in shelving, hinged door, and roof and side wall vents.

Gardener Greenhouses |

Review: These greenhouses are covered with unique SnapGlas panels
which give it the clarity of glass but the strength and durability of polycarbonate.
These greenhouses make attractive and unique season extenders and can be used
for overwintering in warm climates. SnapGlas panels get their clarity by using
a thinner single layer of polycarbonate which is less than ideal for retaining
heat in the winter and diffusing sun in the summer. Greenhouse frames are lightweight
and are only recommended for milder climates that do not experience mush snow
or wind. Instructions for all models are very detailed and easy to follow.
Sizes available:
(Width x Length)
6' x 8' (extendable)
Standard Features:
These greenhouses have an aluminum frame, are covered with single wall polycarbonate
panels, and include roof and wall vent(s).
Price Range:
$599 - $749 |

Little
Greenhouses |
ACF
Review: The Little Greenhouse kit is a great economical choice for
extending your gardening season and/or overwintering in mild climates. For a very
economical price, these kits come standard with many accessories that cost extra
on more expensive greenhouses like a hinged door, tall roof, full length benches,
and 3 speed exhaust fan. You will need to provide some wood to complete assembly,
and the greenhouse uses a thinner plastic sheeting for the covering which will
need to be replaced every 3 to 5 years in most areas. Instructions are very detailed
and easy to follow.
Sizes available:
(Width x Length)
8 1/2' x 6 1/2', 8 1/2' x 10', and 8 1/2' x 14'
Standard Features:
Little Greenhouses include a PVC frame and 6 mil thermal polyethylene plastic
covering (both UV protected), exhaust fan, hinged door with lockable latch, built-in
shelving, and anchors.
Price Range:
$489 - $745

Greenhouse |
ACF
Review: The Portable greenhouse is designed to fulfill a unique need
inexpensively. It offers season extension and can be used for overwintering plants
in mild climates while being able to be assembled quickly and easily and dismantled
for storage when you don't need them. The Portable greenhouse features a dark
green painted steel structure and one of the most durable plastic film coverings
available. Kit also includes a built-in door, screened in ventilation windows,
and a storage bag. The down side is portable greenhouses as a whole have a limited
life, offer limited ventilation options, and can not be fitted with many accessories
because of their lightweight frames. Instructions are not very detailed but the
assembly process is still very easy.
Sizes available:
(Width x Length)
10' x 11' 8"
Standard Features:
Portable greenhouse comes with a sturdy painted steel frame, 11 mil woven polyethylene
covering, zippered door, and screened vents.

Greenhouses |
ACF
Review: These portable greenhouses come in a large variety of sizes
and are the easiest to assemble greenhouses made period. This is due to the fiberglass
rod frame that is built into the durable plastic film covering. Kits also include
built-in door(s), and screened in ventilation windows. FlowerHouses are our most
inexpensive greenhouse option and are a great value for offering frost protection,
season extension, and overwintering in mild climates. Like the portable greenhouses,
they have a limited life and limited ventilation and accessory options. The FlowerHouses
also have the lightest frame and are not recommended for areas with high winds
and/or heavy snowfall. Detailed instructions and easiest assembly.
Sizes available:
(Width x Length)
2' x 2' to 14' x 14' (extendable)
(Cold frame and freestanding
models available)
Standard Features:
FlowerHouse greenhouses and cold frames have a fiberglass frame, GroTec woven
polyethylene covering, zippered opening(s), screened vents, and a shade cover.
