Horizontal Vent Systems for Modine HD Heaters

Each vent system comes complete with everything needed
to vent a Modine HD heater.
|
These 3' stainless steel,
gas tight 3" vent systems are approved by Modine for horizontal installation
in residential and commercial applications for all HD heaters. Each kit is category
III certified gas tight and simple to install (the vent pipe has a built-in locking
band and gasket system requiring only a screwdriver for assembly). Most durable,
longest lasting, and lowest maintenance vent system available for Modine Hot Dawg
heaters.
Garage/Shop Vent Kit includes: Modine
HD 3" adapter, two 12" x 3" vent
pipes, 3" wall thimble with adjustable vent
pipe, 3" Modine approved vent cap, and installation
instructions for HD heaters. Greenhouse Vent Kit includes:
Modine HD 3" adapter,
36" x 3" vent pipe, two 3" firestops,
3" storm collar, 3" Modine
approved vent cap, and installation instructions for HD heaters. |

These
gas unit heaters are very similar to the PD heaters except PDP heaters are power
vented and have a intermittent pilot ignition (pilot is lit automatically when
heater calls for heat). They are designed for suspended mounting and require only
a vent pipe and connections to a gas and electric line for installation. PDP heaters
also include: corrosion and rust resistant aluminized steel components for dependable
worry-free operation, safety features like overheating controls and a safety shut-off,
high power fan to provide even heat distribution, and a baked-on enamel finish
made to protect the PDP from harsh environments. Some wiring required. Requires
110/120v electricity. Designed for propane or natural gas. (Replaced
PV units)

Gas
Heater Flexible Connector Kit
|
|
| This kit makes
installing the gas line to a heater quick and easy. Just bend the 24" flexible
gas line as needed to connect the heater valve to the existing gas pipe. The included
gas shut-off provides easy on/off control of gas to your heater, and the side
tap allows you to check the incoming gas pressure before it reaches your heater
(higher than recommended pressures can damage the gas valve on a heater). All
parts are certified for use with gas heaters up to 150,000 BTU input. Flexible
Connector Kit includes: 24" x 1/2" ID stainless steel flexible gas
connector, all adapters needed for Modine heaters, brass 1/2" gas shut-off
valve with side tap, gas pipe sealant tape, and installation instructions. |
